Herewith is the notice from the Registrar, Zimbabwe Open University regarding the rescheduling of 1st semester 2020 examinations(An official signed notice can be downloaded from this link):
The first semester 2020 examinations which were scheduled to commence on 4 May 2020 have been rescheduled to start on 15 June 2020 and end on 3 July 2020, in the event that the lockdown is lifted.
All registered students are advised to extract revised Confirmations of Registrations. Please note that these examinations shall be run in compliance with COVID-19 regulations.
To facilitate movement during the examination period which stretches from 15 June 2020 to 3 July 2020, students are expected to produce a valid ZOU student Identity Card/Valid Identity Card and a revised Confirmation of Registration at all check points.
All students must ensure that they satisfy all program regulations before taking examinations. No student should proceed to take examinations without coursework. Requests for deferment shall only be entertained where the inhibiting conditions are beyond the control of the student, i.e. acts of God.
You are however advised to keep in touch with your Regional Campus Administrator for any variations of the above in view of changes associated with the lifting of COVI-19 lockdown which may be pronounced.
